I remember as a child going to Fort Clinch a few times. My relatives and family would spend time at fernandina in the summer back then. Now, I remember mainly the huge sand dunes and running around on them in the 70's than mostly the fort. My great grandfather lived at Burnt Fort close to you. I'll check it out and give you the details.
